Nutritional Tips

Eat breakfast - You need to break the fast. Studies show that you will be thinner if you eat your breakfast. Rev-up your metabolism with eggs

Stay in your portion size and choose three food groups when you make your plate. This gives you more balanced nutrition, which helps curb cravings

Drink water throughout the day - minimum of 8 - 8oz. glasses per day. Water is the transport medium for your nutrients. If you do not drink enough water, you are missing out on all the benefits you can get from your nutrients. If you take medications, you need to drink a little more water.

Don't be a mono-eater, or someone who fills up on one, (or very few), food items. It is very difficult to reach your fitness goals this way. Choose variety of 1 - serving per food group. This curbs cravings due to more balanced meals and nutrients.

Eat every three hours. Skipping meals lends to overeating at the next meal time and slows the metabolism. Your body will begin to trust you when you become consistent, and in turn, will start letting go of fat.

Cut back on salt and lose a few pounds effortlessly.

Get rid of pop and diet pop.
Studies show diet pop drinkers are not thinner, but usually end up eating more calories in their day. Also, the carbonation is not good for you. It can leach the calcium out of your bones - which is especially not good for you ladies - and it can even make you feel bloated. Drink tea or water.

Eat your fruit and vegetables

Eat a little bit of healthy fat at every meal.
